VP Hoteles has reached an agreement with the International Tennis Federation and Kosmos Tennis to bring the hotel chain back as one of the standout sponsors of the Davis Cup by Rakuten Finals 2020.
This agreement will again allow players and their teams to stay in the VP group’s Madrid hotels during the tournament, and will also place the chain at the centre of this important sporting event – the largest annual international team competition in this sport.
This is one of the key announcements that the hotel chain will make this week in Fitur 2020 (Booth 10F16), one of the most important tourist fairs in the world, a global meeting point for tourism professionals, and a leader for the receptive Ibero-America markets. The four companies of the VP group will all be present: Somos Design, VP Hoteles, VP Plaza España Design (VP Hoteles Design) and Ginkgo Restaurantes.
The group's booth, which debuts this year at the fair, will feature an avant-garde design that will have a very special guest: the Davis Cup, recently won in Madrid by the Spanish team. Fans can visit the trophy on Friday 24th and Sunday 26th January to have their photo taken and to discover other surprises.
VP Hoteles currently has five establishments in the Spanish capital, all located in the city centre, including the VP Plaza España Design 5*. Opened just over a year ago, with impressive architecture and design, the hotel is destined to become the company's flagship and has been one of the most anticipated openings in the capital's buoyant luxury hotel sector.
With an area of more than 25,300 m2 spread over 17 floors, the hotel houses 214 rooms of nine different categories, including a presidential suite of 120 m2, equipped with top-of-the-range amenities and state-of-the-art technology. Among several restaurant offers within the hotel, the Ginkgo Restaurant & Sky Bar stands out, offering Asian Mediterranean fusion cuisine with spectacular 360-degree views of Madrid and has become a benchmark of leisure in the capital.
